About Me

I am a Christian. I live a blessed life, but not a simple life. My husband calls me Mrs. Murphy, because if anything can go wrong, it will and usually does. Especially with me. I am fine with this. God has blessed me so much that a few accidental incidentals are not a big deal. I also have a book blog of the books I've read.

The Final Summit by Andy Andrews

Powerful!

The Final Summit by Andy Andrews

What if the fate of the world was resting on your shoulders? What if you could save humanity with the answer to one question? David Ponder’s secret to success is called the Seven Decisions, which were given to him by famous people from all eras of time. His time travel has taken him to meet Anne Frank, Abraham Lincoln, and Harry Truman along with four others.

Now that his wife, Ellen, is gone, David struggles with his purpose for living. He even thinks about ending his life. As he takes the tobacco bag out of his safe and spreads the seven decisions across his desk, Gabriel, the archangel shows up. Taken to a place somewhere in heaven, David is told he is to conduct a summit to save the people of earth. He is given the rules, a question, and an hourglass.  In the audience, famous people all through history, wait with anticipation. David is given five helpers from the audience and five chances to answer the question.

This book really made me think about what I could do as an individual to help change the course of humanity. Andy Andrews did an excellent job of uniquely bringing to life this story and the characters. Although the plot bogged down a bit during the middle of the book, the ending was spectacular. Andy Andrews knows how to deliver a thought-provoking and moving novel.
